The most lucrative day of the year for any performer is New Year’s Eve. And this year at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, people are getting a big old treat when they see Coldplay and Jay-Z because Gwyneth Paltrow is rumored to be joining her husband, Chris Martin, onstage!

Both his band and Jay-Z have each been paid up to $1 million to perform for 2,500 guests at the new hotel. And the party cost $25 million! But the hotel is being hush-hush about all their details…

Another big cash earner will be Rihanna who is hosting a party at Pure in Vegas for $250,000. DJ Tiesto is spinning in Miami to the tune of $200,000.

Nicki Minaj is reportedly getting $75,000 to perform at Miami’s Mansion while Drake is said to be getting $250,000 for his gig at Wall at the W Hotel South Beach.

However, some folks are fairly cheap – like Snooki. Duh, right? She’s getting $10,000 for the party at Madame Tussauds.

But for the most part, anyone who isn’t hosting a party is gonna be tucked away in the warm tropical locales and relaxing versus trying to earn some dough.
