Chace Crawford is the type of guy who rivals pretty GIRLS. Those brooding baby-blues can play tricks on a magician, flawlessly covered by lashes worth killing for.

But he wants us all to know he’s in the whole ‘acting game’ for realz. In an interview with WWD, Chace revealed that while he is grateful for the role of “Nate”, he’s looking at the bigger picture. Chace even names Pitt, DiCaprio, Cruise, and the late Paul Newman as actors he’d like to model his career aspirations around.

But all big dreams aside, for now he is making young (and old!) girls swoon as the moral compass of the Upper-East Side. And Chace is fully aware of his talents, “I’m not ignorant to the fact that part of the reason why the show’s popular and part of the reason people want to see it is to be like, ‘Oh, novelty boy! Hot boy! Pretty boy!’” Crawford says. “And that’s all fine and good. It is what it is.”

And just for the record, I sat next to Chace on a plane recently from Dallas to New York City, and two things are true; 1.) He is JUST as pretty in real life, if not prettier, and 2.) his momma raised him right. That boy is the good kinda southern gentleman you wanna take home and marry. Gotta love it.
