Channing Tatum made some fans’ days (or lives, maybe) when he stopped to pose with fans and sign autographs after leaving Live! with Kelly in New York City yesterday! Lucky, lucky.
But fans are about to get luckier because those famed abs are going to be front and center in a new movie. (Yes, even more so than they usually are.) His upcoming movie is the movie we’ve all been waiting for: a movie where he plays a stripper. Drooling yet?
Fact: Tatum was a stripper in his youth. Also fact: This factoid inspired director Steven Soderbergh to turn around and create the comedy in question, Magic Mike. If only we could all be so lucky to have such “inspiring” jobs from our teenaged years!
On how different it was to film versus actually, like, do it do it, Tatum confessed: ”It wasn’t as comfortable as I remembered it. [...] It’s really, really naked to walk out in front of a group of girls naked. And you get real reactions from them, so when you walk out and take it all off you want to get a good reaction!”
Hmm, I think at this point, Tatum should be assured of a “good reaction.” Just maybe.
Magic Mike will be unveiled in theaters on June 29th.

Welcome to the site, and thanks for the emcomnt, Carleigh.Megan Fox was on the cover of Cosmo…never Glamour. The Megan Fox emcomnt was in reference to general brainless people mentioned in magazines no one was specifically saying she was ever interviewed for Glamour (my readers probably know Megan was in Cosmo, as I featured the cover of that too).
