The shiny bronze thing that Charlize Theron wore to the Paris premiere of Burning Plain last night could easily have been found inside any Forever 21 (or just Jennifer Lopez‘s closet), but it could hardly compete with her shoes. A girl could do some serious damage with those things. No need to even carry pepper spray.
Using tricks from her modeling days, the peacekeeping actress looked trendy and chic in an otherwise tacky outfit, as she stood tall and swan-like, with that signature fragility.
In Burning Plain, Charlize’s character tries to put a difficult childhood behind her and make nice with her mother, Kim Basinger. In other words, the typical American adult’s life story? I’m guessing the title has more of a symbolic than a literal significance. But still, the bronze dress was a nice touch.
