With all the speculation surrounding Chelsea Clinton’s wedding, its amazing that it is actually happening today. An earlier report last summer from paparazzi guaranteed that Chelsea had wed at the time, but it was completely inaccurate. People have been eager to find out all the details of the historic event.

The wedding is being held at the former estate of John Jacob Astor IV in Rhinebeck, New York. It is currently owned by a Hillary Clinton campaign contributor named Kathleen Hammer. There are reports that the wedding is costing the Clinton family between $2 million and $5 million. The flowers alone are said to cost $250,000.

Bill Clinton was ordered to go on a diet to walk Chelsea down the isle and arrived in Rhineback on July 30th. There will also be gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options on the menu as the bride is vegan. The wedding cake itself will be both gluten-free and vegan.

“Chelsea is a vegan. The food will include vegetarian, vegan, and
gluten-free dishes, but there will also be grass-fed organic beef on the
menu,” according to a source from Life & Style magazine.

The groom, 32 year old Marc Mezvinsky, is an investment banker with Goldmann Sachs who has known Chelsea since her teens. He is a the son of two former congress people.

Over 500 celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Barbra Streisand, Steven Spielberg, and Ted Turner are reported to be in attendance while President Obama revealed Thursday on The View that he would not be attending. Chelsea’s gown is said to be designed by Oscar de La Renta.
