The openly gay daughter of pop icon Cher and the late Sonny Bono has made the decision to change her gender from female to male. 40-year-old Chastity Bono, who is known by those close to her as “Chaz,” has confirmed the news through publicist Howard Bragman.
“Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity,” Bragman said in a statement. He added, “It is Chaz’s hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his coming out did nearly 20 years ago.”
I smell an Oprah Winfrey interview in the near future! And not one of those half-assed Skype ones either.

with it when it came into my old place of work
it was arrogant, unpleasant,
