Soooo Chris Colfer is a wonderbot. The young man was not only named one of Time Magazine‘s 100 Most Influential People and scored a Golden Globe for being ghetto-fab on Glee, but he also wrote a pilot for the Disney Channel and an indie film called Struck By Lightning, which he’ll also star in. Wait, it doesn’t stop there. Pop Eater reports that Colfer signed a two-book deal with Little, Brown Books for Young Readers.
Book #1 is titled The Land Of Stories and will be released next summer. Stories follow a set of twins on a bunch of adventures, while combining various fairy tales into a modern setting. Book #2 isn’t titled yet.
In a statement yesterday, Colfer said, “When I was 10 years old, I promised myself that if I ever had the opportunity to write this book, I would jump at the chance. This book has been at the core of my imagination for a long time and I’m excited and nervous to share it.”
