Chris Hemsworth needed to do a little research before taking on the role of God-turned-human in the upcoming blockbuster, Thor. Although he was well-versed in the Norse mythology of the title role, Hemsworth had to read a “stack of comics” once he got the call from the studio to familiarize himself with the Marvel side of Thor. When I got the part six months before and I received a stack of comic books. I knew vaguely a little bit about the character I wasn’t sure were from. I probably knew more about the Vikings, the Norse mythology setting of it all. When I got the part it was about educating myself and going through the books. According to Contact Music, Hemsworth confessed,
