Keira Knightley swooned over her love interest Chris Pine as the pair filmed the fifth action packed outing for super-spy Jack Ryan began in Liverpool.
The stunning British star enjoyed a passionate clinch with the 32 year-old actor who plays CIA agent Ryan in a new film based on the Tom Clancy novels. Heartthrob Pine swung into action in the dead of night on the streets of the city centre which has been given a makeover to look like Moscow.
Keira, 27, plays love interest Cathy who is kidnapped by Russian terrorists as the spy who loves her tries to foil an evil plot to crash the US economy. Pine, rescues his girlfriend Cathy, played by Keira Knightley, from a black Land Rover amongst shady spy characters. Pine was seen leaping out of a Mercedes SUV and opening the door to the Land Rover, before dragging Knightley out of the car as his partner shoots at the other driver with a handgun.
His partner then grabs Knightley and bundles her into their Mercedes SUV before they speed off. As they drive off, Pine and Knightley can be seen in the back of the car having an emotional reunion after her kidnap ordeal.
At one point during filming Pine appeared to be nursing a leg injury after shooting a scene running up a street being filmed by a camera on a quad bike.
They drafted in Stoke City football club’s Fitness & Physio co-ordinator Paul Maxwell to give him some help and advice, including using a hot water bottle.
