The MTV executives are puzzled as to why she thinks it is bad idea. I mean after the divorce of Nick and Jessica, Carmen and Dave, the Barkers, and Britney’s catastrophe that was “Chaotic,” why on earth would Aguilera pass that opportunity up? How could turning your home-life into a dog and pony show for world be bad?
She goes on to say that she feels sorry for the stars that fell into the trap.
“My heart goes out to that whole situation. It’s a whole different ballgame, I feel, when you do open yourself up to that whole thing, and it must be difficult. You’re open to all the judgment in the world. At least now I can say, `Well, you don’t know my situation and it’s very private and special and sacred to me.’”

She is very wise, but I thought that when I saw her selection for a husband. He was his own person with his own career not in front of the camera. Yes she is smart and she deserves credit for it. The flashy couples want to play up to the cameras, shop for outrageous gifts and then boom it’s over. Live your life Tina. It’s no ones business what you and your husband do.

The curse hasn’t affected Sharon and Ozzy’s relationship or Alton and his wife ( forgot his name ) from the Real World. As a matter of fact their are a couple of real world couples who stayed together. So it isn’t really mtv doing the damage. Its the couples finally deciding to realize that maybe marriage wasnt for them.
