Because she’s beautiful, you know. The singer is doing tons of promotion for her upcoming album release, “Back To Basics,” which is set to be released in August. The album is said to add a modern twist to jazz and blues styles. She’s adopting her look to her music: “I chose to dive right into the 1920s, Thirties and Forties, a time that really inspires me,” Aguilera explains. And she’s adopted the look of that era to help get into character: “Right now, because it goes with the music, I like the red lipstick and being blonde.”
The blonde bombshell stepped out in skin-tight red pedal-pushers and a black shirt unbuttoned to reveal a leopard-print bra, as she made her way to the TV studios this week. Glamorous as ever in huge shades and toting a white Chanel handbag, the petite starlet showed no signs of reverting to the toned-down look she’s adopted of late.
Her husband Jordan Bratman, however, doesn’t have a problem with the 25-year-old’s barely-there outfits. “He is proud and supportive of how I look. It’s an expression and an element of what I do. I don’t think it’s about being secure. It’s comfortable and I am comfortable in my own skin,” she told the Scottish Daily Record newspaper. She has nothing but praise for her music executive beau whom she describes as “my rock and my backbone and my best friend”.

She’s the most insecure celeb out there. Every 3 seconds she says how she dresses and acts a certain way because she’s a “strong woman” who “owns her sexuality”. Please, if she was that secure, she wouldn’t feel the need to tell us over and over again what a confident and strong woman she is!

If she’s inspired by the 30′s 40′s and 50′s, she should cover up more. women from those eras would be socially shunned if they dressed like that. and those color pants are horrific. i dont think in that era people would wear bright pink pants, or for that matter a bra sticking out!

From Pop-rock-cute teen to mega slut to beautiful woman. I’m not sure how Xtina does it. She’s managed to hit the trifecta of groups that do it for me, although she’s missing the lesbianism that always seems to get me going.
I doubt britney is anyone’s inspiration ESPECIALLY not Christina’s. She looks awesome, she seems happy AND she has her stuff together. She’s not insecure, just constantly asked to explain herself. At least she can do that with correct grammar,less the chewing gum.
Is it just me or is Christina’s inspiration looking alot like the pre-pregnant Gwen Stefani? Don’t get me wrong… I love Christina. She undoubtedly has talent, but seems like she’s morphing into Gwen with the 1920′s cleaned-up style and bright red lipstick.
