Christina Aguilera and her bloody lips paid Larry King a visit to talk about voting last night. Larry King didn’t seem to know who she was exactly, seeing as he referred to her as a “soft singer”. Isn’t she known for her yowling vocal acrobatics?

Christina didn’t register to vote until 2004. But she’s stressing the importance of it.

“It was really important for me to get involved and get excited about
this election in particular,” she told King, “being such one of change
and new development for our country and for the future of my son.”

Xtina is appearing in a Rock the Vote PSA along with her newborn son Max. It’s a take-off of the infamous one that Madonna did in 1992. Check that one out here. The early 90s were low-rent! Hopefully Christina has pants on in hers.

Aguilera will sing “America the Beautiful” to her kid, which is where Larry asked his dumb question not realizing that he’s not talking to Connie Francis.

“Since I’m holding my son, I’m not going to, you know, belt in his face
or anything like that,” she said. “But it was really, really nice to
bring it down to a really intimate moment between me and my son.”

It’s nice to know that she can sober up for a second to do some good.
