The man with the endless balls…and I guess he’s in a rock band too, Cisco Adler, is talking to whoever will listen, to promote his upcoming VH1 reality show, “The Rock Life.” As a member of the Hollywood starlet periphery, he though he’d provide his insider’s look to People magazine to sound off on Nicole Richie’s upcoming motherhood.
Was it shocking when you found out Nicole Richie was pregnant or did you personally hear about?
It was surprising but congratulations to them. They’re good people.Do you believe she’ll be a good mom?

Joel’s a great guy. I think he loves her. I don’t know though I don’t know their relationship that well.
I love that he clearly doesn’t know them or their situation all that well, but did his damndest to answer the question. It reminds me of how I used to blatantly make things up on the written portion of my physics tests. E for effort, Cisco!

As the product of parental genetic perfection, I think I have some expertise on who or what makes good parents. Does Joel Madden have multiple Super Bowl MVP trophies like my father? Nope. Does Nicole Richie, like my mother, radiate a beauty that until now was confined to epic poems and tales of ancient lands and heroic love? No.
An out of control house fire would make a better parent than either of these two.
