Striking her best interpretation of the 80s “Power Bitch” is Claire Danes in this photoshoot for the cover of BlackBook magazine. I love that she’s getting into the spirit of the shoot, with her fierce gaze and severe hair, but I’m not sure it suits her. Her legs do look ridic in those fishnets and stilettos, though.

Claire doesn’t talk too much about her personal life, which includes an upcoming wedding to fiance, Hugh Dancy, planned for mid-September in France. But she did talk more in general about her view on relationships.

“I was talking to my friend recently about monogamy–is it feasible, is it realistic? I resolved that there isn’t really a better model. We just can’t shake monogamy,” Danes tells the mag. It’s hard to argue with a woman with a fistful of giant shiny balls.
