It was revealed last week that Clay Aiken is fathering a child with his best friend and producer Jaymes Foster via artificial insemination. Millions of people across the country read the headlines that Clay Aiken was having a kid in disbelief and then went “oh, ok” when they read that it involved him shooting in a cup first and no actual peen to vagine contact. No one should have to go that far to put those gay rumors to rest. Anyway, Aiken fans (popularly known as “Claymates”) are supporting him being a gay dad.
“Now today I almost choked on my sandwich, Clay is going to be a father? And in three months? It blew me over. All I can say is ‘Congratulations!’ That is going to be one handsome and talented baby,” one fan wrote on the Clay Aiken fansite, claymaniac.com.
Jaymes Foster is the sister of famed record producer David Foster, who Clay has also worked with. Another fan on ILike expressed support of the whole endeavor.
“Here’s a toast to Clay and Jaymes for the healthy arrival of their baby in August. This baby will be loved, however it came to be. “Lover All Alone” is a great collaboration with David Foster – and this will be a great collaboration with his sister Jaymes. Congrats!”

A couple of fans did wonder whether Clay will have time in his busy schedule to assure a child that Daddy likes girls but he was just doing a favor for Mommy, who is his best friend in a non-naked way.
“How can he have time with his baby if he’s always on a busy schedule. Like tours, CD releases, talk show[s]. Life becomes crazy with a baby,” wrote a fan on claymaniac.com.
I think that’s the LEAST of the issues he’s going to face. The kid’s going to wonder why Daddy looks like a lesbian but kisses boys! How does that work, Dad? Jesus Christ, its bad enough that you sell shit on QVC.

Jesus Christ are these people for real? I don’t have this guy can have so many fans. He had one mildly successful single and it was creepy as hell. If I caught Clay Aiken watching me in my room I think I would need to be put on medication.
