This is probably one of the most beautiful, upsetting videos to grace my screen in a while. I don’t know whether or not I want to cry or rejoice over it. You can probably infer why something like this would evoke bittersweet feelings, but in case you’re unable to, I’ll give you a little background information on the story.
Webster, who goes by Danny, has a few last wishes. One of them includes going to see the Colts, which is his first ever NFL game. He doesn’t have much longer to live and it’s quite possible that his first football game will also be his last.
That sounds emotional enough, doesn’t it? Well, it doesn’t end there.
While en route to the game, he learned he had field passes. The coach and a few players greeted the special guest, then his favorite person, the quarterback, Andrew Luck, appeared.
His kind words and gratitude towards the fan were heartwarming. Danny’s compliment towards the compliment was probably the best one he’ll ever receive, and I’m sure he knows that.
Being able to see his happiness was unlike anything else. I’m thrilled he got his wish and I hope he’s able to thoroughly enjoy his time left. The Colts probably don’t even realize how big of an impact they made on that man’s life.
