When Matt Damon gained all that weight for his role in The Informant, it looked like he was getting all Oscar-worthy Russell Crowe from The Insider on us. However, as it turns out, Damon was simply bulking up for a comedy, rather than a tense, corporate thriller.
The movie, directed by Steven Soderberg is actually a comedic take on the true story of a central Illinois executive who blows the whistle on his company to the feds about a price-fixing scheme. Only, he takes himself way too seriously.
As for a role that Matt himself takes seriously, the doting daddy was recently spotted in these pictures with his family arriving in Miami. Toting around his precious cargo, Damon looked spent, but content.
