Confirmed: Lindsay Lohan Out of Rehab!

October 5th, 2007 // 10 Comments

Well it had to happen sooner or later. There has been some confusion over the last few days as to if Lindsay was still in rehab or not. People has confirmed that Lindsay Lohan has checked out of Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah.

“She’s finished the program,” one source says. “Lindsay is done, but she may come back for outpatient treatment. She over-extended her stay because she wanted to. She could have been out awhile ago, but she chose to stay.”

Lohan’s mother, Dina, told PEOPLE Friday: “I’m proud of her. She’s moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal.”

Lohan was photographed Friday afternoon with her father Michael, who carried her suitcases, leaving Cirque Lodge. “I will be there in her life as best I can but from here on she’s going to have a lot of decisions to make on her own,” Michael told PEOPLE Friday. “Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best.”

What’s up next for the starlet? She’s headed back to work. Lohan will begin filming the tango-themed movie, “Dare to Love Me,” on October 15 in Los Angeles.

We wish Lindsay and the cast and crew of “Dare to Love Me” all the best.

No surprise Lindsay extended her stay. She was getting high and getting laid, so what reason was there for her to leave?

I wish her well in a generic sense, even though I have low expectations and don’t really care about her. This lambada movie she’s going to start on really sounds like a great comeback vehicle.

Yikes. Stear clear of Britney, Linds!

  3. Hey that’s nice Michael was able to worm his way back into her life. I’m a fan of that guy. He’s just such a scumbag you know he knows what’s up. lol

Oh and FYI – I don’t really care about anything relating to Lindsay but TMZ said she is just going back to LA for some dental work? I dunno… hopefully her rehab room didn’t have those penis bars on its door. That would have sucked. no pun intended…

    Later,

Oh, no! Does that mean we have to start reading about her again? I was enjoying my time off, kinda like when Paris when to jail.

  5. MardiGras

Oh, great. She’s going back to LA and her druggie friends. Perfect.

I’m sure Lindsay has her “comeback” all planned out. 1st she plans to do a whole bunch of interviews talking about her stints in rehab and how addicted she was to drugs-. “Cry me a river bullshit” 2nd, That will get her praise and accolades from the public for doing so well. 3rd,-does the “good girl act for a while but…4th,Plans to get caught doing drugs in less than 2 years and will go to rehab again. Why? Because, that’s what her career and fame is based on and that’s what wins you fame and popularity in Hollywood.

I just wish people would wisen up to the way some celebs play the game in this town.

The last thing on earth Miss Thing should be doing is moving back to La-La Land. Recipe for disaster. This child needs a straight (excuse the pun) year in rehab. Next course of treatment, sex addiction.

  8. Hey Cupcake

I love her movie titles; they’re so appropriate. “I Know Who Killed Me”, followed by “Dare To Love Me”. What’s next? I Know Your Dealer? Knocked-up in Rehab?

I find it so depressing how people can think and post such negative things about a young girl who has experienced trouble in her life. Rather you are rich and famous or not, addiction is nothing to make fun of or take lightly. I’m not even a fan of Lindsay Lohan, but as a descent human being I wish her well, because she’s young and has her whole life ahead of her. If anyone decides to be offeneded by this post, then maybe you should look at yourself for judging her. Critiscm can be constructive, but degrading another human being is lowest most infantile action one can take.
