Granted, we all knew that David Arquette and Courteney Cox were kind of a bizarre couple, but who would have thought that after 11 years of marriage that they would split or do their ‘trial separation,’ as they put it.

But for a couple that is separating, they seem to have remained on the up and up, trying to remain friendly. Just last week Arquette visited his wife, seen above at work yesterday on the set of Cougar Town, where they weren’t particularly cuddly, but acted very professionally, according to a source for People.

While the couple indicate that their split dates back for some time, it seems that they’re working on being as civil as possible.
