If you ask me, Twitter was invented specifically to provide Courtney Love a quick and easy way to broadcast her most entertaining brand of crazy.

The Hole frontwoman has taken to her Twitter account, posting photos of herself in bed with a tortoise. Or is it a turtle? I don’t know the difference. Either way, don’t worry–it’s nothing weird. The shelled creature’s just sitting on her head. She also claims her new album evokes the sound of “giant black pyramids.”

God bless the person who first thought to give this woman a digital camera and a laptop.
