Criss Angel was not a happy camper at the Miss USA pageant this past weekend. His girlfriend, Miss Nevada USA Veronica Grabowski, didn’t make the final cut and Criss was in a pissy mood when he ran into Norm Clarke, columnist for the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Apparently, he has beef with Clarke for reporting that Criss chatted with pageant judge Sandy Mecca before the competition, urging her to give his girlfriend “high marks.”

According to Page Six, Angel’s displeasure became apparent when he started yelling at Clarke during a chance run-in, calling the writer a “[bleeping] idiot!” and threatening the columnist, who sports an eye patch over his right eye. Criss told Clarke, “Don’t ever write another word about me or you’ll need an eye patch over your other eye.”

That would be such an awesome showdown–a pirate vs. a magician. I wonder if I can get these donkeys to perform at my birthday party in a cage match.
