Critics Think Miley Cyrus Only Has One-And-A-Half Expressions

Move over Britney, it looks like someone else has taken the title for worst pop star turned actress performance: Miley Cyrus.

“Cyrus makes the most dubious ‘dramatic’ debut of any singer since Britney Spears,” the New York Post said of her acting in her new film The Last Song. A bevy of other critics panned her performance and “approximately one-and-a-half expressions,” in the romantic flick, calling her acting stiff, unconvincing and one-note.

The New York Times went as far to call the teen queen “a big problem,” adding “acting, for the moment at least, seems almost entirely beyond her.”

And the slam-fest only continues. Variety snarls she, “hasn’t yet learned not to act with her eyebrows and overbite.” A number of critics also said that she and real-life boyfriend Liam Hemsworth have zilch chemistry (pictured getting dinner in L.A. on Monday)

And maybe most scathing of all, the Envelope blog for the LA Times advises, “Miley, get your Razzie acceptance speech ready.” I guess don’t quit your day job.
