Filming scenes for Sex and the City 2, Cynthia Nixon joins the rest of the ladies in their look back at the 80s as frazzled young lawyer Miranda Hobbes. I’m loving this look back as the ghosts of outfits past.

Meanwhile, Sarah Jessica Parker is taking a break from filming scenes as her over-the-top stylish alter ego, Carrie Bradshaw, to take a stroll through New York City with her son, James Broderick. Sadly, SJP’s twin baby girls opted to stay home, so we’ll have to wait that much longer before we catch a glimpse of them out and about.

Even though she’s decidedly less done up than her HBO-based television character, it’s clear that Sarah Jessica’s fashion sense is well-developed even off the clock, as she steps out in some stylish shoes of her own.
