With her controversial “rape movie” Hounddog premiering last night at a theater in New York, Dakota Fanning is looking all grown and stuff. The braces have come off!
At 14 years old, Fanning showed up at the premiere for the film wearing a silvery satin top some black peep toe wedges, pulling the ensemble together with some skinny black jeans. As for her film, it’s some pretty mature stuff, with Dakota playing the role of a 12-year-old Elvis fan who gets raped.
Reactions for the film have been mixed. The only thing worse than a rape scene in a movie that is actually poignant is one where it’s just pointless. Blurg.

I love that se looks so clean faced, unlike other very young starlets
that cake on the make-up indiscriminately. She actually looks her age. Seems to me like there’s a responsible parent behind this one.

Sorry, I think she’s very cute – cuter than she was as a littler girl. And, I think she’s going to grow up to be quite beautiful.
