Damn Girl, We Didn’t Know It Was That Serious

Speculation over the cause of Lindsay Lohan’s scratches on her wrists (as well as scars, seeming to indicate similar past injuries) has included possible self-mutilation, despite announcements from her PR rep that they scratches were caused by a tumble in some bushes. Well, scratches or no scratches, the woman can party as evidenced by her visit to London. From The Daily Mail:

Lindsay began her evening of fun at 7pm, with the launch of her pal Donna Karan’s perfume, Gold, at the DK store on New Bond Street. While she was there she slipped out of her white shift dress and changed into a slithery silver number. She was also wearing £300,000 of diamonds, on loan from Cartier. She and the designer were also seen at a party for Now! magazine in Soho. Next up was a spot of black cod at Nobu Berkeley – the favourite restaurant of most celebs — to line her stomach before she embarked on yet another all-night bender. Leaving Nobu at 1am in yet another outfit, this time a black bandeau mini dress, Lindsay headed for Boujis in South Kensington. But she clearly wasn’t going to pull there so she dashed back into Soho to Kabaret where she came face-to-face for the first time with London’s most famous lothario, Calum Best.

However, it was this recent article in The Sun Online that went into further detail about Lindsay’s bizarre scars. The Sun Online reports:

More on the story and photos of Lindsay Lohan (with some puffy lips) at the Donna Karan Gold Launch Party are after the jump.

LINDSAY Lohan sports scars on her left wrist — fuelling fears the Hollywood wild child has fallen victim to self harm. The scratches — and what looked like a figure-of-eight burn on her right forearm — were revealed as the 20-year-old starlet left a showbiz bash MINUS the bandages and wristbands she has taken to wearing in recent weeks. Shocked experts last night said the gouges bore all the hallmarks of a condition that afflicts increasing numbers of youngsters.

Between seeing the effects of childhood stardom wreaking its havoc on the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Danny Bonaduce, as well as a slew of others, it’s starting to make me believe that anyone assinine to drag their children around to auditions should be shot. Except me, cause I plan on having some twins and cashing in on that shit.

There are people who just don’t know how to behave when they are successful or, on the contrary, have the impression they are not well-appreciated. They need specialized help. Maybe she should change her life style.

Is it really any of our buisness what she does or does not do to her body?
And I mean, who cares anyways? Do you realize how many women are raped, how many teenagers self harm, or how many girls starve themselves daily?
And when someone hears about this — do they run front page news stories about these people?
    NO.
So why don’t you just forget about Lindsay Lohan. She’s just one person out of a million more.

Wow small fry..yeah you’re rediculous (just thought you should know that) obviously you know nothing whatsoever about cutting..and if you feel like cutting someone so bad.. nevermind let me keep my mouth shut, cuz unlike you I dont try to make people hate themselves or do something awful to themself..anyways why say something about a topic you know nothing about?…get your facts straight..then comment..k?…do some research cuz that offends alot of people who go through cutting..so yeah..do what you want..

but a tip of advise: putting other people down doesn’t make you feel any better..hopefully you’ll find that out sooner or later

I’m not trying to be mean to you ok? just be careful what you say..

Hey, why not leave Miss Lohan alone. You idiots who say things like “she has no right to live” and “cut lengthwise for maximum bleedout” are ridiculous, and heartless. I don’t agree with some of the choices she’s made, but what’s happened has happened, and she can’t go back. Apparently she feels bad enough about what she’s done and gone through to take it out on herself physically. I mean, atleast she’s not sitting in front of a computer judging people she doesn’t know. She’s keeping herself out of your miserable lives.
