While Steven Spielberg, Leonardo DiCaprio and playwright David Mamet are all avid gun toters, our newest Bond, Daniel Craig isn’t a fan. And shockingly, he doesn’t like his martini’s shaken and stirred. Who does this Daniel Craig think he is?
The actor will wield 007′s famous Walther PPK in the movie Casino Royale. But he revealed in OK! magazine: “I hate handguns. Handguns are used to shoot people and as long as they are around, people will shoot each other.
“That’s a simple fact. I’ve seen a bullet wound and it was a mess. It was on a shoot and it scared me. Bullets have a nasty habit of finding their target and that’s what’s scary about them.”
Nor does the 37-year-old share Bond’s love of Martinis shaken and stirred. “I love a Martini straight up. I don’t think anybody makes a Martini stirred any more,” he said.

He’s going to be such an awful James Bond, it’s painful to even think about it. Wake me up when the next James Bond is chosen.
Horrible!…..And, to think he is at least ten years younger than Pierce Brosnan AND looks older!. If the producers are going back to Bond’s roots and wanted a younger James, there not going to get it. I don’t mind the blond hair (even though Bond should have dark hair) but it’s the FACE that’s not right….This is not good for the franchise. So many other choices out there.
