Currently, Daniel Craig is starring on Broadway with high-kicker, Hugh Jackman–both playing Chicago policemen in A Steady Rain.
However, it seems that Craig’s tough-guy handle-bar mustache isn’t scaring off his enemies and/or crazed fans to his liking. The Bond star has requested constant personal security, while his co-star, Jackman, requires none.
A source within the production spills to Page Six, “Everybody thinks it’s funny because the truth is, Daniel rarely gets approached by the public in the street and at restaurants–especially now that he has the huge handlebar mustache for this role.”
Hmm, maybe he needs to take a break from doing spy movies for a spell.

Craig’s one of those celebs who don’t do public attention on the individual level. He has a history of going off on people giving him unwanted adoration. I can appreciate that, but requiring bodyguards to help you is pretty diva-ish and lame.
Kind of sad. He is way more popular in the UK.
