The Dark Knight has delivered. The film made $155.34 million in just its first weekend, beating out SpiderMan 3 for the record. The movie made $66.4 million in its opening day, and $18.5 million in Friday night midnight shows alone.
Christian Bale didn’t look too excited, as he headed to the airport with his wife Sibi and his adorable 2-year-old daughter Emmaline, but he sure looks hot. I can’t wait to see him in all of his superhero glory tonight — which was the earliest I could find tickets online the middle of last week!

Must have been dauntign for the two year-old. As a parent I fel sorry for these kids, their parents’ job shouldn’t mean their privacy is invaded with flash bulbs.

Actually, Rusty has signed him up to play for Souths (as long as he wears the bat suit)

When George was in charge of the Souths Sydney Rabbitohs, he also attracted big name starts such as Ray Martin and Andrew Denton, so what Russ is doing is nothing special…NO BIG DEAL..just hollywood hype.
You should of all voted ‘NO’ i tell you.

Souths are kidding aren’t they? We might still get the wooden spoon – how about the club concentrating on finding the next Terry Fahey, John O’Neill, Rocky Laurie and so on rather than worrying about yuppies wearing our gear.
Publicity is fine but results are more important. Why was dopey Jason Taylor signed up so fast after a briefy flurry of results with Parra when it was clear we needed an old pro like Tim Sheens or, at last, John Lang.

With due respect to Martin and Denton (i luv em both) – Christian Bale is the star of one of the most successful movies of all time.
If any publicity is good publicity, good publicity is great publicity!
