37-year-old David Beckham may have been pretty disappointed after being rejected by the British Olympic soccer team. But now he will play an integral role in the 2012 London Olympic opening ceremony with film director Danny Boyle. Thousands of fans recently rehearsed for the ceremony, but were under extreme secrecy and apparently, so is Beckham. What will he be doing during the performance?

 ”I’m not allowed to [talk about the ceremony],” David told CNN. “But it’s exciting, I’m excited to be part of such a huge occasion for our country and for everybody involved in these Games.”

Seen here, David Beck­ham con­tin­ues to collaborate with H&M, releasing new images just in time for the fall shop­ping sea­son mod­eled by Beck­ham him­self. No one can complain about these, not even the long underwear shots. It’s too bad that the British team would only accept three guys over age 23, because Beckham looks amazing for his age in that close-up shot.
