There is trouble in Beckadise. David Beckham felt that he needed to defend himself after his LA Galaxy teammate Landon Donovan publicly questioned David’s commitment to the team.

“In 17 years, I have played with the biggest teams in the world and the biggest players and not once been criticized for my professionalism,” Beckham said. “I don’t care what people say about me on off the field, once I’m on the field I’m professional.”

“Me and Landon will talk but that will be a private conversation,” he added. “And if there is a chance for him to score, I will be giving him the ball.”

One thing that can’t be questioned it Beckham’s commitment to kids. Yesterday, Becks and French soccer player Zinedine Zidane gave a group of children quite a thrill as he took part in a scrimmage game with them during soccer camp in El Segunda, CA. The soccer star was all smiles as he hustled down the field with the kids giving it their all against him on.
