June 26th, 2008 // Leave a Comment

I guess I could have shortened that title to “David Beckham Blogs About His Wiener Ruckus” but I couldn’t remember if “wiener ruckus” was an actual term, or just one I made up, so I decided to err on the safe side.

The soft-spoken soccer star said of the reaction that the crowd had to the unveiling of his enormous ad draped on the side of a building in San Francisco, “To be honest I was amazed by the huge billboard poster outside Macy’s department store, but even more amazed by the amount of people who turned up to see it!”

That’s kind of cute, hearing him be so humble. But then again, he’s a man who’s just dripping with humility.
