Soccer star David Beckham‘s passion for fashion is matched only by his love of body art. A shirtless Becks showed off the latest edition to his tattoo collection, a depiction of Christ on the side of his right abdomen. He also managed to show off his underwear when he changed shorts on the field.

The image is a version of The Man of Sorrows by artist Matthew Brooks and is the fourth of tattoo of David’s with a religious theme. He already has a guardian angel between his shoulder blades and another on his right shoulder, as well as a crucifix on the back of his neck.

Despite the icons of Christianity featured on the professional athlete’s hard bod, he has said in the past that he feels closest to his Jewish heritage. He says in his first biography, My World, “I’ve probably had more contact with Judaism than with any other religion.”

If I were his wife, Victoria Beckham, I’d find a way to drug his ass and have “Property of Posh” written on him permanently.
