David Beckham has confirmed that he fully intends to return to AC Milan for a second loan stint in January.
Beckham has been told he must continue to play top-level European football if he is to keep his place in the England squad for next summer’s World Cup finals.
“It’s simple. I want to return to Milan and Milan have said they would be happy to have me back,” Beckham told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “If it’s all right with Milan and it’s all right with me, I don’t see what problems there could be.
It hasn’t been easy for David here in the United States, and he’s much more beloved in Europe than he is in the U.S. The only problem may be if wife Victoria Beckham keeps on judging for American Idol.
