Katie Holmes, Eva Longoria, Mary-Kate Olsen, Brooke Shields and Chris Henchy, Alicia Silverstone and rocker husband Chris Jarecki, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Drew Carey all showed up to witness David Beckham’s debut with LA Galaxy. There was a question as to if he was going to play in Saturday night’s exhibition game.
Despite fears that an ankle injury would sideline him for his first game, Beckham did indeed play about 13 minutes in the second half of the exhibition match against Chelsea. (Chelsea won, 1-0.)
“It was nice to get out there,” Beckham told reporters afterward.
At the press conference following the game Beckham said of his injury: “The ankle has swollen up slightly, but that was going to happen. We’ll see how it is tomorrow.
“It was a good performance from the team,” he added. “We just lost one nil. My 15 minutes, it was nice to get out there. I haven’t trained all week. I hadn’t kicked a ball yet today. It was just nice to be out there with the lads and get this game over and done with. I enjoyed it.”

They should really get some cooler lookking unifroms. Frikkken black white and yellow? Meh… I guess it wouldn’t be so ugly if the tailoring was better. Just look at those sleeves! hah

Man that Suri Cruise kid is maybe the most adorable kid I have ever seen in my life, and she looks EXACTLY like Tom. Pity. I was hoping she would have come out an alien.

Suri is by FAR the cutest celeb kid spawn of all. The Becks kids…ehhh. Surprised she is so beautiful and will always question her paternity. We cannot forget Tom Crazy’s first wife Mimi stating in fact that he was infertile. The next wife adopted with him (yet never sees her children???) Crazy Tom and his crew…its so obvious!

I was there!!! It was by far the bestest Galaxy game that I’ve ever attended. I can’t wait to see Becks play a full game!!! WOOHOOO!!!
