David Beckham Plays With Kids At HIV Clinic In South Africa

During his visit in South Africa for the World Cup draw, soccer star, David Beckham, stopped over at an HIV clinic in Cape Town as part of his role as an ambassador for UNICEF.

On his trip, Beckham was all smiles as he interacted with the children, even though he is currently mourning the loss of his grandfather. The news came to the professional athlete over the phone from wife, Victoria, while he was en route to Los Angeles.

“If I had decided to go back home I know what he would have said to me, which I can’t repeat,” Becks explains. He adds, “Grandad would have shouted at me for leaving this because he was passionate about his country. He fought for his country and I know how proud he was of me.”
