For a night out at the swanky London hotspot, Cipriani’s, David Beckham left his favorite beanie and denim jacket at home and instead grabbed a stylish plaid jacket to keep himself warm.

The soccer star recently returned to his native England after participating in the World Cup draw in South Africa. The results of the draw have David facing off with his English countrymen against L.A. Galaxy teammate, Landon Donovan, on the soccer field.

Landon says of the upcoming challenge, “It is going to be a lot of fun and, with David at the draw, I’m sure he recognized that straight away.” Donovan adds, “Maybe I will pass on a little smack-talk to him–we’ll see!” I don’t know, Becks is still recovering from his dance-off with Janet Jackson, sponsored by Pennzoil.
