David Bowie who has been known for his iconic sense of style, loves his designer labels. Bowie attended The Women of the Year Awards hosted by Glamour Magazine looking quite fashionable wearing his label on his sleeve! Either David really likes to name drop his designer duds or Valentino is placing the labels on the outside of his couture jackets these days!

I definitely don’t think a high end designer such as Valentino would dare put the label on the sleeve, it’s a fashion faux pas. GQ style editor Adam Rapoport says there is no nascent vogue for visible labels on high-end apparel. “It’s a definite fashion don’t,” he confirms. “It’s not like the Lacoste crocodile or the Polo pony. You would never, ever walk out of a Valentino store with a label on the outside of your jacket.” There is some speculation that he might have borrowed the suit and didn’t realize the tag was still on the sleeve.
