‘Dawson’s Creek’ Former Show Runner Trashes Katie Holmes & Co.

June 4th, 2009 // 2 Comments

At a Los Angeles Times Envelope Emmy screening series panel, Californication show runner Tom Kapinos talked about his time spent working on Dawson’s Creek.

In his speech, it appears that Kapinos was not a huge fan of the show’s stars, Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams.

The writer described his experience on the tween series as “miserable,” but that during that time, he claims, “I learned everything that I needed to know about how to run a show.”

When he was specifically asked what the biggest obstacle was, Kapinos said, “It was the four monstrous actors at the core of it.” He added, “They were very young, and they got very famous, and they made life miserable for any writer or producer on the show.”

Ha! I can’t wait until he has to deal with the drama little Suri Cruise is going to bring when he ultimately ends up working on her series that will inevitably happen.

I don’t blame him for saying stuff about them. Michelle Williams hated commenting about Dawnson’s Creek in interviews because she would rather forget about the show that made her. They’ve written off the show in interviews so who cares if he writes them off too.
