On August 16th, we gave ya’ll a heads-up that UK department store chain Debenham‘s would soon carry a limited edition version of Pippa Middleton‘s famous bridesmaid dress. For those of us who can’t shell out $39,000 for the Alexander McQueen gown Pipps wore on April 29th, Debenham’s will release a high street version (translation-reasonably priced) for $250 on October 17th. “We’ve been inundated by customers asking if we have anything similar to dresses worn by Kate, Pippa and the flower girls, but the ivory dress worn by Pippa is the most request by far,” Alain Mehada, Chief Personal Shopper at Debenham’s Oxford Street said in a press release.

Before that, the collection of dresses inspired by the royal wedding – including flower girl dresses, a version of Pippa’s jewel green Alice Temperley gown she wore to the evening reception, and a black cocktail dress featuring the lace neckline from Catherine‘s wedding dress – will be featured at England’s National Wedding Show in Birmingham before hitting the floor. Russell Fish, Head of Occcassionwear Design at Debenhams, said of the collection, “Like everyone we were glued to our tellies for the wedding and have been huge Kate and Pippa fans ever since. We taken the best of the dresses and added our designer twist. Now you can get the Middletons’ look at High Street prices.”

If I had a body like Pippa I would wear it. I’m really loving Kate’s wedding dress in black though. That dress would be great on all body types.
