Demi Lovato sent some love to her Disney BFF, Selena Gomez last night via Twitter. The tweet sent yesterday simply read “@SelenaGomez I love you” and comes the same day Selena cancelled two holiday-themed performances she had scheduled. Selena’s rep assures fans that Selena is OK, and cites the cause for cancellation as a “family emergency.” E! Online reports that a source close to the situation claims Selena’s mom, Mandy, suffered a miscarriage. Last month, Selena excitedly shared the good news to her fans that her mom and step-dad were expecting their first child together.
Selena and Demi have been friends since childhood, and Selena is scheduled to perform at MTV’s live New Year’s Eve special, hosted by Demi Lovato.
Demi Lovato, seen above arriving at LAX, ended the first leg of her Unbroken tour, in Puerto Rico. Lovato performed Friday night in Puerto Rico and looks tired and exhausted Saturday arriving back in LA. She picked an interesting outfit for her flight back, an oversized cream shirt and black fringe skirt. The starlet joked over Twitter on Friday “Gonna wear the same outfit two days in a row…. call me out fashion police but I already beat you to it!!! BAM!!!!” but later added “Found something to wear so I didn’t wear the same outfit as yesterday….. #score.” I think the fashion police will still be calling her out for this one.
