Demi Lovato, 17, has decided to profess her love for new boyfriend Joe Jonas, 20. The couple, who met on the set of Camp Rock in 2007 had previously denied reports of their romance. It as only until recently that Lovato decided to let the cat out of the bag telling US Magazine, “Every time that I’ve started to date someone, I’ve had private relationships, there’s just so much stress to hide it and keep it quiet, that if you just come out and say, ‘Ok, we’re together,’ you don’t have to worry about keeping it such a secret.”

The two were recently spotted cozying up while shooting a video in Los Angeles on April 10. While Lovato admits that it was scary coming out with her relationship, she claims that, “ultimately, everyone who knows us knows that we’ll always be best friends, no matter what happens.”

For the time being, the two seem to be doing just fine. Lovato feels that both have “always had an incredible bond, an incredible friendship.”
