Dennis Quaid‘s brother Randy Quaid may not have been the only Quaid in trouble with the law had it not been for an intervention. Dennis Quaid and wife Kimberly Buffington found an alternative way home after a police officer advises him not to drive!

Having attended the premiere of the movie One Peace at a Time, Dennis and Kimberly headed to Phillipes restaurant for dinner. When it was time to go home, Quaid was seen climbing into the driver’s seat of his car.

A passing police officer stopped for a chat with the Hollywood star and persuaded him that driving home might not be such a good idea. Quaid agreed with the officer, parked the vehicle and went back inside the restaurant to order a cab!

Now only if every drunk had a police officer stop them before they were about to drive that would be quite helpful. It’s not gonna happen, so use your head people! Don’t drink and drive.
