Derek Jeter was recently overheard in a restaurant, speaking fondly of his ex Vanessa and her new beau, Nich Lachey, according to In Touch Weekly.
“She’s a great girl but we were done five months ago. As long as they are happy, I’m happy for them,” Jeter told the magazine. “Nick seems like a great guy.”
Yup, things seem to be going just swimmingly for those two. I have a feeling it’s going to take a little more than just jamming an ice cream cone disturbingly in her face for Jessica Simpson to feel better about this situation.
