And it’s not their former cast members.
Nicollette Sheridan was expecting some shit talking after she filed a lawsuit against Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry for assault and wrongful termination, but I don’t think she expected this.
First Eva Longoria hinted that the “incident” was really Cherry showing Sheridan how to do a scene. This might explain why ABC found the complains “without merit” when they investigated the situation.
Now Longoria joined with Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Teri Hatcher in releasing a collective statement to UsMagazine.com addressing the part of the lawsuit that claims Cherry created a hostile work environment:
“It would be irresponsible of us to let the public believe that being a part of this show from its inception has been anything but a blessing. We have no first-hand knowledge of what Nicolette may or may not have experienced, but we would never characterize our set as a hostile environment. It is, in fact, the opposite. The friendships and support that Marc Cherry, the cast, the crew and the producers have shared for the past six years have made this a wonderful job that we are grateful for every day.”
Damn, in other words they are calling Nicollette is a lying, liar, who lies. Or they live on a sunny happy set and Nicollette is a drama queen who causes trouble. Does not look good for Sheridan. I still bet Cherry had her killed off so he wouldn’t have to deal with her. I don’t know how “wrongful” that kind of termination is considered in Hollywood, probably par for the course.
Sheridan had singled out Hatcher as a victim of Cherry’s in her lawsuit, maybe to rally some “he said what!” support. Hatcher, who was driving around LA yesterday, did not take the bait and instead says she is “honored” to set the record straight and Marc and every executive have made her feel “heard and respected…in regards to both my professional and personal needs.”
So, if he hit her in the head with a bat that would be acceptable as a way to “show her how to do a scene”?
Or is it that, because he hit her on the head and face and assaulted her with his hand instead of a bat, it’s honky dory? Business as usual in the fascist mafia-run Hollywood style? It’s just a little Hollywood love?
I think the story is being Stalinized and sanitized of the full truth. Assault is not an acceptable management style, maybe in Nazi Germany but not in Nazi America where we still have some rights.
The team letter was possibly forced on the women or else they don’t realize the writing is in the toilet and they can find work on a new show with better material. Marc trashed the quality of the writing a long time ago even before he told the press that he was “out of ideas” in season two and then kept repeating what had already been done. He’s now evolved to trashing the actresses by assaulting them (so it seems). The team does not recognize a fraud when they see him.
This reminds me of how the officers of Hitler’s regime signed up to work for him because it was a paying job and jobs were scarce after the Rothschild bankers destroyed Germany’s economy. Now the bankers have also deliberately destroyed America’s economy and people are desperate for jobs again. And what a coincidence that war is offered as the solution in both cases. What clever fascists the bankers are.
This show represents a trickle down effect. The nation’s leaders are corrupt and so are business leaders and the executives that business leaders hire can be abusive and violent because they know the law of the land is Talmudic, which means crime pays in the New World Order that George Herbert Bush announced as a real political movement. Judge Scalia said he held the Talmud up as a higher law than the American Constitution. Though his statement is seditious it means that the powers that be know they can get away with smacking Sheridan around viciously because the Talmud encourages violence, theft, lying, cheating, stealing and committing genocide in order to take your kingdom on earth. The Talmud offers are religion for morons who can’t do an honest day’s work, morons who resort to violence and theft because they’ve spent their lives being criminals and inept at whatever they attempt.
If men would stop stuffing their faces with lard and sit down and learn a skill they wouldn’t have to rob and assault women in order to make a quick buck.
