We all have been wondering about the authenticity of the Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes publicity stunt romance. While I tend to blame Tom’s sister/publicist Lee Anne DeVette for the whole shebang, however,Tom has let the whole thing go out of control.
What could blow the lid on this whole fiasco? A little list, and a revelation. ABC News’ Heidi Oringer gives us the scoop.
Gossip columnists have been chewing over whispers that Cruise originally had a list of young women he was looking to date and another Kate — Kate Bosworth — topped the list.
Cruise’s camp denies that report (Bosworth’s issued a “no comment”).This would hardly be worth mentioning were it not for Cruise’s love life seeming ever so strange.
Here’s what doesn’t add up for me: Cruise is a megastar who has tried to remain oh-so-private through his two failed marriages and other serious relationships. He’s a huge follower of Scientology and has insulated himself from the media as much as possible throughout his years of celebrity. Now, all of the sudden, he’s hopping up and down on Oprah’s couch telling the world how “cool” Holmes is and how he’s “so in love” and “too happy” to control his emotions — and — considering marriage after two short months.
There is, of course, the fact that she’s a self-proclaimed virgin and Tom Cruise has been rumored to be less than interested in sex. Mimi Rogers, his first wife, once told Playboy that Cruise considered being a monk and felt that having sex would hinder his desire for purity. If both these things are true, it certainly would make Holmes the perfect platonic partner.
Using my female intuition (I only take it out for special occasions!) I have to believe something more is asunder. I predict there’s going to be some very damaging information about Mr. Cruise that will be exposed in the very near future. Perhaps this secret, in tandem with the real reason Penelope Cruz gave him the big shove-off, has caused the PR machine to go into overdrive and force Cruise to become a romantic goofball.

ago.”
“Did I?” I responded, pulling a semi-denial straight out of the Madonna
school of acting. “Oh, I was just told that by another source,” I
continued, not mentioning to Deep-Cruise that the other informant could
probably best be described as Deeper-Cruise, but what-ev.
“Look, it was just one date,” added Deep-C. “He took her home, kissed
her good night. Outside. That was it.”
Deeper-C. says a new gal-pal for Tom is in the works. Without a doubt.

So apparently there was something cooking way back in March.
He’s gay I suspect. His box office depends on his being perceived as a hot heterosexual.
He can’t play an alluring straight guy because he isn’t.
Who in the hell would want to date Tom Cruise?
And if Katie Holmes smiles any harder, her face will break!

I have to agree with Jax…how can someone as hot as Katie, who was engaged after dating the same guy for years, be a virgin? I don’t believe it either, not for a minute. Who would WANT to be a virgin at 26, male or female, unless it a religion thing? It just does not make sense, and is odd. Maybe she is a lesbian and needs cover herself?
That poor naieve girl doesn’t know what she’s getting herself into… She’s just so starstruck with him… His last wife- they only split because she had developed a stardom of her own and she wasn’t just his little arm ornament anymore…
