Oof. Kirstie Alley and dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy took a tumble during last night’s Dancing With The Stars, but it didn’t seem to negatively affect their standing. Chmerkovskiy’s leg gave out while holding Alley, and they both landed on the floor. He was in visible pain through the remainder of the dance. Later, Chmerkovskiy blamed himself for the tumble. “My thigh just gave out. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry. It has nothing to do with her.” Watch the video after the jump.

The contestants were supposed to pick songs with a personal meaning for last night’s show. Alley selected “Over The Rainbow” and danced the rumba to memories of her move to LA to become an actress, as well as the death of her mother.
Though Alley and Chmerkovskiy were disappointed, the judges felt differently. Len Goodman told them, ” You’ve overcome it. You got up and dusted yourself off.” Plus, they walked away with a 21 out of 30.
