Drew Barrymore, along with original Charlie’s Angels producer Leonard Goldberg are involved in bringing the iconic 1970′s jiggle crime show back to ABC.
According to Variety, insiders said that ABC Entertainment Group topper Steve McPherson is particularly high on this project. A a pilot is expected to be greenlit. Josh Friedman, Goldberg and Barrymore will exec produce with Nancy Juvonen who is Jimmy Fallon‘s wife.

I saw the hollywood / tv. reports that “Charlie’s Angels” is being considered to come back to TV and that they are looking for some feedback on who should play Farrah. Our household 110% back Jessica Simpson for the role because she is beautiful, smarter than she looks / speaks, and she has a charismatic smile and face that light up the screen. Our whole family would watch this with Jessica Simpson in it.
