Why can’t awards season happen every week? The Golden Globes party circuit has left so many criminally amusing stories in it’s wake, I have to be Choosy McChoose as to what makes it in here. It’s refreshing!
Supposedly, at the party Paris Hilton wasn’t high class, famous and artsy enough to attend, a drunk party-goer (a Creative Artist Agent trophy wife, perhaps?) stumbled up to Brad Pitt and told him he looked ugly in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Thankfully, she knew it was the makeup, as an eavesdropper heard Brad explain the make-up was “essential to telling the story properly.”
While the lady “piped down” a bit, there must’ve been some nagging voice still chirping in her head saying, “no, no NO this man is still ugly!”
As she then blurted out: “And you should definitely shave that goatee because it looks just horrible.”
Amen, sista! Brad Pitt has been looking particularly beat as of late and his unfortunate choice of facial hair at one point tipped him over into used up ’70s porn star category. And we mean that in the worst way possible…
