Ed Westwick is excited to get started working on Wuthering Heights, he says he loved the book and it’s one of his mother’s favorite works. He’s also looking forward to working with co-star Gemme Arterton for the first time.

Ed’s partial to brunettes, which Arterton is. He was recently quote as saying that if he had to choose between Gossip Girl characters Blair and Serena, he said: “There’s something about the character of Blair. “They’re both a little bit annoying. If I had to pick between Blair and Serena I would go with Blair – I’m partial to a brunette. But they’re both great girls in real life.”

He’s chosen a brunette in real life as well in co-star Jessica Szohr, who he’s seen here after helping ER star Shane West celebrate his final few days of being 30 at the Bardot Lounge in West Hollywood last night.
