The gays and the gay-friendly were all out to help celebrate Elton John and David Furnish‘s marriage which will take place today.
A host of gay icons flocked to Sir Elton John and David Furnish’s pre-wedding bash at London’s Too2Much club last night.
Scissor Sisters singer Jake Shears, Pet Shop Boys Neil Tennant, Sir Ian McKellan and Eric McCormack all attended the star-studded bash.
McCormack, who plays Will Truman in hit US TV series Will & Grace, studied at the same Toronto, Canada, school as movie producer Furnish, and wowed the pair with a special reading and song.
Recently reformed boyband Take That also performed, re-teaming with sixties icon Lulu for a rendition of their 1993 hit “Relight My Fire.
John and Furnish will form a civil union on Wednesday, taking advantage of new British laws which afford gay couples the same legal rights enjoyed within heterosexual marriages.
No word on if Elton John’s former wife will be attending.
